The animals of the Berlin zoo
Once inside, it seems to be in a new microcosm where the animals are the real protagonists. Each species has its own “home”, that is a protected and ad hoc natural environment, fortunately cages are rare. The distance from the animals is minimal, but still such as to guarantee a pleasant visit for the whole family in perfect safety.
Among the different exotic species meet elephants, hippopotamuses, monkeys, rhinos, panda and very high giraffe. There is also, in the northern area of the park, an area entirely dedicated to birds and penguins.
If you are passionate about ornithology we advise you to enter the Butterfly Pavilion dell'Amsterdam Zoo Artis.
One of the main attractions of the zoo is located at the southern entrance, let's talk about theancient Elephant Gate built in 1899, today House of Carnivores: the jaguar, the Californian lion, the panther and many other rare predators are photographed every day by thousands of visitors.
